Iain and Alison Fergusson look forward to inviting you for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The property is a detached house built in the 1920’s for a local farmer and has off street parking to the rear of the property. There is also a large garden for guests to relax in. It once was a bank and was also the residence of the Captain of a Canadian shipping line. It was bought by the Blair family in 1949 and now operates as a bed and breakfast. We cater for most diets from Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluton, wheat and Dairy Free, as well as offering evening meals we are however not licensed but you may bring your own wine to enjoy with your meal.

(population is now about 4,000).
Or Visit Dumfries where the famous Scottish poet Rabbie Burns is buried, and the infamous Bonnie Prince Charlie stopped over on his retreat from the 45’ rebellion, and stole all the towns people’s shoes for his troops, a forty five minute trip by car, or again take a day trip by the train.
